The goblet is miniature architecture — base, stem, bowl, each with its proportion, each with its function. The artisanal glass goblet brings to the table a presence that is noticed before it is even filled. The proportions completely change the tasting experience: a wine drunk from the right goblet tastes better. The hand craftsmanship guarantees imperfect symmetries that no machine can replicate.
In the blown glass of the bowl, Elisa lets an iris bloom by hand, a rose, a small tropical garden closed forever in the wall. Drunk from a glass inhabited by a secret flower, wine becomes memory.
