Bespoke wall hangings, hand-painted by Zazie

Fabric hung on a wall changes a room more than a painting. It is fabric — it breathes, it moves with the air, it gives the light back differently at every hour. At Zazie's the wall hangings and bedcovers are born to the measurements of your wall, your bed, your atmosphere.

Wall hangings — painted for your wall

Standard dimensions do not exist, because no wall is standard. You give us the measurement in centimetres (width × height), the fabric you imagine (raw linen, light cotton, structured hemp), the motif you have in mind. Zazie draws and paints a one-of-a-kind piece, with rings at the top for hanging or a wooden rod.

Bedcovers — for single, double, king

The bedcovers are made in standard Italian sizes (170×260 for single, 260×280 for double, 290×290 for king) or to the measurements of your bed. The motif is painted across the entire surface, not printed — the colour sinks into the fibre and holds up to gentle washing.

How it composes with the rest of the room

Zazie often works in ensemble: a wall hanging and its matching bedcover, a set of cushions in conversation with the bed, a motif carried from the wall to the tablecloth. It is not compulsory — many clients choose a single strong piece as the signature of the room.

Care and keeping

Hand-wash in cold water or machine wash on a delicate cycle (30°C, no spin). Iron on the reverse with steam. The pigment resists UV light, but the ideal position avoids direct sun between 10 and 4.

How to commission

A photograph of the wall or bed, the measurement, the palette you prefer. Zazie sends a first visual proposal within 48 hours. Made in 4-8 weeks depending on complexity.
